My A/C was taking a very long time to cool but it would eventually cool.  I made a service request online with First American Home Buyer's Warranty on 7/10 of 7/11/15 and they assigned it to North Star Mechanical.  The first technician came out on 7/15/15 and he said that the unit needed a new motor.  I called North Star Mechanical on the morning of 7/20/15 to inquiry about the motor and was told that the technician came out (without me being at home) and changed a regulator (when the initial technician said it was the motor)  because he said mine was the wrong size and that my A/C was cooling.  I turned on my A/C and it started cooling faster than normal but it only cooled for a few hours, started blowing warm air and the temperature kept going up and I informed the person at North Star Mechanical of this.  The 3rd technician came out on 7/22 and said that he received a heavy shock when he touched the compressor, even with the breakers turned off and had the warranty company to send out an electrician.  Allsafe Electric came out on 7/24 and the electrician claimed there was power flowing thru my A/C unit with all of the breakers in my house turned off.  On yesterday, 7/31 I had someone looking at my A/C that does work for my HOA and he showed me where these idiots had changed a capacitor that I had him change about 2 months ago and replaced it with a 7.5 and he showed me where it says my unit uses a 5.00; he also showed me that's there was no electricity flowing thru my unit with the breakers off.  I haven't been able to stay in my house since 7/20.  I called the warranty company on last night, 7/31 and told them what happened and that North Star needs to come back out here and put the correct capacitor back in and that I need to be at home to make sure it's the right one.  I was told by the rep at First American that they have to check with North Star to make sure they put the 7.5 capacitor in my unit.
