As with every other Ripoff Report I've read about this company, they continue to find ways to get around doing what they should.

Although they promised to offset some of the cost I had to incur because of their' vendor's delay in informing them of the need for a replacement, then suggesting that I had not authorised "additional expenses" as the reason for the delay, the refunded my $55.00 service charge and said they considered the claim closed as they are not liable for consequential or secondary damage.

Two charges to my Credit Card that were an overcharge and a removal fee (old unit was never removed) were supposed to be refunded, according to First American, by the Vendor, Westpoint Plumbing of Houston, TX. Westpoint has told them would mail out the refund check twice and I still have not received it.

I don't know if there are any honest companies out there, but, in my opinion, this isn't one of them.
