Complaint Review: First American Home Buyers Protection

We have had several claims and each time First American sent workers who were not willing to spend the time to do the job right. They pitted my bathtub with drain cleaner, several companies went on vacation mysteriosly when a drain pipe that was broken needed replacing , and finally they installed a valve in my heater which the Gas Company has said is placed illegally for a floor heater. I have not renewed and now they will not fix my heater, even though I paid for the service call, and they initially did not repair it correctly. I refused to pay $45 again to have someone sent out by First American so they said they won't repair it. I'm going to smalll claims at this point and I will pay someone myself to fix it properly so it doesn't burn my house down.
