Complaint Review: First American Home Buyers Protection Corporation

I had recently purchased a house and got the first american home owners warranty. So much for warranty. After turning the furnace on, the carbon monoxide detector went off like crazy.

After numerous phone calls they were gonna send someone ( but no one here is crazy enough to deal with them and sent a guy who conducts business from the back of his truck). After his diagnois the company stated it was a pre-existing condition.

We have proof from a company who inspected the furnace prior to our purchase and it was fine. I have made tons of additional phone calls and get no answers and never am 'allowed to speak with a supervisor'.

This company does not fulfill their contract obligations and provides no service; instead, they make one feeling livid and helpless- not a good feeling when one is already freezing.

I wish someone would file a class action law suit to put these miserable people out of business. First american home owners pride themselves on fraud!
