We have owned our home for less than two weeks, yet First American Home Buyers Protection Corporation is billing us for a claim from months before. I thought a simple phone call would fix set things straight. Well on my first call, I was hung up on. On my second call, I was told to not worry about it (evidently the employee didn't feel like doing anything)... I asked if they report to a credit agency, to which she replied "yes". So on my third call I was put on hold for 28 minutes. On my fourth call, which I made while I was on hold on another phone from the third call, and a nice csr told me what I needed to tell the person whenever they finally answered the third call - which I did and added "it should not have taken 30 minutes on hold for me to speak to you". He replied "OK" and hung up on me. So far they have been a complete dissappointment/ waste of time and I haven't even made a claim!
