I just received a phone call from "First American Home Warranty Co" person by the name of Wally Rodriguez indicating that my Visa Credit Card was refused as payment of my "warranty contract" with the above company.
According to my phone ID confirmation the call came from Texas - phone (432)-578-7541

Interesting enough: I do not have nor have I had in over 15 years a Visa credit card- The last home warranty (home appliance svce ) policy I had was to be renewed last June and in May I called the company asking to cancel any further renewals due to the poor service (never received) after my request for a servicemaster to come to my home. I did received a e-mail and letter confirming my cancelation effective the date of my
request (over 30 days prior to the next renewal date) but never a pro-rated return of my premium. I also advised my credit card co. (Not a Visa Card) to not honor any future demands for payments to the company (they always billed one month in advance).

Be aware of Any Calls From First American Home Warranty Co. They are not a reputable outfit using old data to scam prior account holders.

As someone who has done a lot of business with First American Home Warranty Company in THE PAST, I advise you to be extremely careful when dealing with this company.
I also had the exact same experience as you did, with the calls coming from Santa Rosa, ( First American Home warranty Company is based in Van Nuys, Ca.) After many MANY calls to the Van Nuys office, explaining that I was being called from a 707 area code they told me that the calls to Van Nuys were somehow forwarded to the Santa Rosa office. My situation was I had just paid for my renewal and I had some clown ( I think it was also Wally!) calling me over and over again telling me that my warranty was about to expire, then after serveral phone calls he started telling me my waranty had actually expired.
I never EVER would give a credit card # out to someone who called ME. You should not either. Instead I was very persistent - and I do mean VERY persistent when I finally got thru to a "supervisor". I had documented each and every time this clown had called, the time he called, I saved each of his voice mails and played them to his "supervisor", then provided my contract number and method of payment I used to renew my home warranty. The "supervisor" apologized (ya right!) for any misunderstanding and said the information must have been on a old call list.
If you need to speak with the President of First American Home Warranty here is his name and address: Mr. Daniel Langston, President
