contacted First American on 10/25/07 concerning busted water heater . Tech came out on 10/27/07, tech did not fax the report until 10/28/07 , FA rep caontacted me on 10/29/07 to authorize additional charges before they would order a new W.H. ordered W.H. on 10/30/07 told it may take 3-5 days , took longer because they ordered me a W.H that is no longer manufactured. Great for me right ??? In the mean time my house is being distroyed ... but they stood firmly that they would not cover the damages done to the home. I understand that but nothing was done to prevent the initial damages to my home . I paid $75, for a tech to say i needed another W.H ... duh... i told them that . No one was really concerned at FA concerning this matter ... So it's almost been 2 weeks since i filed the claim and i'm still waiting on the W.H. to be installed . They called this morning to say that it was on the truck for delivery to the plummer. Wow.... i wonder how they would feel if they had to be w/o hot water for that long .... I can't wash clothes ... i have to boil water for EVERYTHING , and as long as i'm running the cold water, the busted tank continues to fill w/ water and leak causing more and more damage... FA has no since of urgency nor compasion for their customers... Sorry bXXXXXXs !!!
