First American Payment Services and their credit card machine leasing division, Merimac, get you into contracts that auto-renew regardless of the contract you actually sign up for. They will not let you out of a contract or a lease on equipment. Their equipment seldom works. They then charge you to replace faulty equipment. Their credit card processing fees have hidden charges that were never disclosed upfront. The customer service is equally poor. They keep you on hold for hours. They transfer you from one person to another since none are capable of handling whatever situation you find yourself in. RED FLAG! Stay away from them.
