First Atlantic Savings fraud concerning credit card offer Champlain New York
On december 4, 2003 i was contacted by first atlantic bank concerning a guarenteed credit card offer and that i would have it within 30 days. they debited my bank account for $249.00 on december 5, 2003. in mid january i called them because i had received nothing. i have made at least 25 calls to them about this matter. i have asked to speak to the manager but they say he is in a meeting and he will call me back within 48 hours.
i have never received a call from them.
i have asked for a refund but they say yhat a manager will call you- but that never happens.
i reported them to the FCC consumer complaints on 6/14/04.
then last week on june 14th i received a package from this company. the package was filled with flyers, catalogs an a reloadable form for a credit card.
i called first atlantic and again was very rudely told the manager would have to call me back within 48 hours. again this has never happened.
i have sent the package back to them again asking for a refuund. this company is a fraud and needs to be stopped.
