I bought a car two months ago and was assured that I had a 3 month, or 4,500 power train warranty. I signed the warranty and paid for the car. Two months later, June 7, 2007,the car broke down on me in another state. I called the warranty company to report the breakdown and they informed me that the owner of the auto dealership where I bought the car never turned in the form, so I wasn't insured.
I then had to pay to have the car towed, which should have been included in the powertrain warranty and there is in fact something wrong with the car (engine) that would have been included in the warranty if it would have been turned in properly. I am now looking at having to pay approximately 250.00 - 350.00 in towing fees and car repair, and I am still without a warranty that I was guaranteed. I plan to file a report and seek cousel if this isn't settled, because I have been informed that this was illegally handled and I should not have to pay a dime! I am also seeking a warranty for my car, which I haven't had up to this point. I am also unsure that the liscense plate was handled properly.
