First Capital consumer fraud ripoff false promises deceptive company Miami, Florida
I was contacted by First Capital for a MasterCard and offering other free inducements. I was promised their "package" would arrive seven days before the monetary withdrawals from my bank.
On August 15, my bank adivised me that two withdrawal had been made, one of $59.95 and the other of $99.95. The "package" arrived on August 16, the day after the withdrawals and not seven days before them.
I called First Capital and was told that I could cancel and receive the $99.95 fourteen days after return of the package with R02-081702 on the envelope. To get the $59.95 I would have to write a letter to include in the envelope.
I sent it all on August 17, but have not received the return receipt on it.
I found that the Florida Government had been investigating them, but had turned it over to the Federal Trade Commission. When I spoke with them, I was told that after their investigation was completed all those involved would be given an equal refund possibly $5.00 to $50.00.
As I have hope of getting something more I gave them the information requested, but would like to continue on the RipOffReport for better results.
As I wrote in my NACS RipOffReport, anything I can do to take revenge and refund on both I will be glad to help.
