Received a telephone solicitation.....was told by the salesperson that we'd receive a credit card with $2,000.00 Mastercard and $2,500.00 Visa (with -0- APR for 5 months, then 4.9% lifetime APR) open to buy within 5-10 business days once the $219.00 was received from our bank.

We told her we were a little tight on money due to our upcoming wedding, but would like to take advantate of it at a later day.

She told us we'd have our card in time to use on our honeymoom. We decided to take advantage of this opportunity since we were so tight on money for our honeymoom.

Well - it's been 20 days and we leave Friday for our honeymoon and as you can tell - We've still not received our card.

I Talked to Patricia today (Customer Service Supervisor) at 416-488-4664.

Oh yes.... it took me 4 hours to get someone to answer the phone - the system does not allow you to hold for the next available person - it simply says "Please call back later".

She told me and I quote, "The sales department will lie to you just to get you to join the plan"... that's why we have verifiers who call you back!

I was appalled that the Customer Service Supervisor would tell me that.

She also told me that we could not get our money back... that when "the package" arrives - to not open it and call back and they could work something out to possibly get our money back.

I'd like to find out who the C.E.O. of this company is and write him a letter.
