I WAS CONTACTED IN MARCH ABOUT RECEIVING A MASTERCARD WITH A 2000.00 CREDIT LIMIT. THEY WITHDREW $199.00 OUT OF MY ACCOUNT ON MARCH 18,2002. I WAS SUPPOSED TO RECEIVE THE CARD THREE WEEKS LATER, WELL ALL I GOT THREE WEEKS LATER WAS A PACKET THAT I HAD TO FILLOUT TO RECEIVE A STORE VALUED CARD. A CARD THAT YOU HAD TO PLACE MONEY ON TO USE. WELL IN JUNE, I RECEIVED A TEMPORARY MASTERCARD THAT YOU HAD TO DIAL EMPIRE ADVANTAGE AT 1-866-232-4876 AND THEY WOULD ACTIVATE YOUR PERMANENT CARD. THAT HAS BEEN OVER A MONTH NOW AND I STILL DON'T HAVE A CARD THAT IS WORTH ANYTHING AT ALL. CALLING THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER DOSN'T HELP BECAUSE THEY DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE AND WHEN THEY DO THEY CAN'T GIVE YOU A HONEST ANSWER AS TO WEAR IS THE CREDIT CARD OR IF THEY PLAN ON RETURNING YOUR MONEY TO YOU. ONE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESNTATIVE STATED TO ME THAT THEY OFFER NO REFUND AND THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO TO RETRIEVE MY MONEY BACK. I STATED TO THEM I WOULD BE FILING THIS REPORT AND I WAS TOLD TO GO AHEAD I STILL WOULD NOT RECEIVE MY MONEY BACK. I HAVE A HANDICAPPED CHILD AND I CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE ANY MONEY ON FALSE PROMISES. THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE STOPPED BEFORE SOMEONE GETS THEM. ELIZABETH NEW IBERIA, Louisiana
