I was contacted by First Capital Consumers by phone. They sounded very professional when they told me that my credit card application had been approved. When I spoke to the person they told me I had been approved a visa with a $2000 limit. I was told there was a one time activation fee of $199. The interest rate was said to be 9.9%.I was also told that after receiving my visa I would be offered a mastercard with up to a $2500 limit. After agreeing to these terms I was asked what date I would like the funds to be debited from my account. I set a date and gave them my account number. the phone call ended with me verifying that I would be there for the next 45 minutes so taht their security could confirm my information. On the date set for debit (May 2,2002) the money was deducted from my account as planned. I waited for 2-3 weeks as informed by First Capital Consumers Group. At 4 weeks I became concerned that I had been ripped-off. Shortly thereafter I received a a blue folder in the mail with a benefits package, other offers, and coupon book. i was a little relieved to receive the package, but still no credit card. a few days later I decided to go online and see what I could find. I found exactly what I expected when I saw the reports on your website. DAVID NEW CARROLLTON, Maryland
