First Capital Consumers credit card ripoff lied to me and never sent card stole $200 from me Ontario

I paid my $200.00 deposit in January 2002. I wasn't sent my membership package until May 2002. I immediately returned my card activation (overnight express) early May.

Between the months of April and August I made several calls to the customer service line. Most of the time I encountered an answering machine. When I spoke with an actual person I was promised it was already sent in the mail.

It is now the end of August and I still haven't recieved my card or the truth about an actual date my card was supposedly sent. Each time I spoke with these people I was assured if I didn't receive my card I could get a full refund. Ha Ha!

After too many calls to count I requested my money back. I was then told I would have to fax them a copy of the statement where the money was debited from my account. They also never told me a time frame for the return of my money only that they would call me. Like that is gonna happen.

I have contacted an attorney who will be counseling with me on Monday to advise me of the next course of action and I am contacting the Post master general to report this company for mail fraud.
