I received a phone call from a Barbara telling me I was eligible for a 2500 unsecured credit card for $219.00. I would be contacted by another individual from the security dept. I decided that this might be a scam and informed the person from security of this, he replied " If this were a scam, why would I be calling you from a security dept. I still wasn't convinced and told him I wasn't interested. Ten minutes later Barbara called me back and asked "What is the problem? I explained my reasons and she continued to convince me that she was on the up and up. Somehow she knew I was trying to establish credit. I recently applied for a secured credit card from Capital Credit Card, so I figured that was where she had obtained the info. Well, because she went the extra distance (Instead of moving on to another sucker) I figured I might be able to trace them through the bank if this were a fraudulent situation. Needless to say I'm very upset and out $219.00, with 2 children to feed. Cynthia Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
