n May 24th I was called by Julia at First Consumers Choice offering me a Master Card W/$2500.00 credit limit and for an additional $20.00 I could get a Visa w/$2000.00 limit. I was supposed to be a way to rebuild and repair my credit. I suffered a stroke in May and I had just returned home from the hospital when they called. Not being able to work I thought this would be a good way to make my money last longer until I could return to work. On June 27th I received a packet of useless papers and no credit card. Because there phone # was International I was never able to speak to anyone. I foulnd this site in looking for help. I just want the world to know these people are listed Bad News on All the BBB's I have checked and that the Canadian Government already has suite against them. I just wish I new that before I gave them my $219.00. Linda Brookeville, Maryland

Thank You for my refund. After a great panic attack I called my bank and found out that my $219.00 had been credited back to my account on August 6, 2002. Keep up the good work.

I received a call from a company called Universal Consumers Group offereing me a Visa & Master Card yesterday. I never let them finish there converstion. I informed them I had already been ripped off by them once and it would'nt happen again.

I had sent a letter to the Bel Air P.O.Box for 1st Capital Credit to try to get my money back and I thought I would share the letter I received back from the Post Office. It reads as follows:

"We are in receipt of your letter expressing concerns involving products or services purchased through telemarketers or mailings. The address you used for your complaint is actually a wholesale company that provides: mailings, distribution, packaging and fulfillment services. We do not sell to consumers, tele-market, provide banking services, or debit/credit consumers banking accounts.
The companies who use our services, market directly to consumers. They use our address as a return mail drop. This is a normal industry practice.
However, in order to assist you, the letter you sent has been forwarded to First Capital Consumers.
If we can be of any further assistance contact us at the address of record. Thank You Customer Service. "

Again the letter was not signed by anyone and I did not get a phone number to call. The Company Logo was " PS&A ".

PUBLIC BEWARE. WE NOW KNOW THEY USE COMPANIES LIKE THIS TO HIDE BEHIND FROM WHATEVER STATE OR COUNTRY THEY WISH TO RIP US OFF IN.
