I was contacted by First Capital in the end of March, 2002. I was promised a Mastercard with a $2000 limit and a Visa with a $2500 limit. They advised me the fee was $199. I agreed to have them debit my account on 04/01/02. I started feeling uneasy about it so I called before 04/01/02, spoke to Sarah Johnson and advised her to cancel the transaction, I did not want the card anymore. She said she would enter the order and someone would call me back. I have not been called back. They did debit my account and I did have checks bounce. I waited about 6 weeks for the package that was supposed to come in 10-14 days. I finally called them every day to get the package, which I finally got and was full of a bunch of crap I don't need, but no credit card. There was a postcard with a MasterCard logo on it I had to fill out to get the card because it needed my signature. I mailed that in and I have no card as of today. I called the customer service line (416-488-4664) about 20 times and left messages and have not received a call back. I have spoken to Phil Reed (416-488-7213) about 15 times and he is a rude son-of-a-b***h and no help at all. He promised me I would get a return phone call but all I have received is about $100 in long distance charges and no credit cards. At this point, I don't care if it costs me $1000 in long distance, I will hound them until I get my credit card or a refund.
