First Class Vacations Travel Company Boca Raton, Florida
First Class Vacations cold calls people to trap them into deals. They managed to get my mother - a senior - to cough up $698 via credit card when they called her with all sorts of promises for a free trip if she booked a cruise with them. They took her credit card info before they ever sent anything out in writing.
I could have lived with the hard sell if they actually offered a reasonable price on the trip. First Class Vacations wants $847 per person for a Carnival cruise that I can book directly with Carnival for $587 per person. (Initially, they wanted $99 more per person for a balcony cabin "upgrade" fee.) Both prices include all taxes and port fees and are for exactly the same cabin. I'm all for companies making a profit, but $260 per person (original $359pp) seems a little exorbitant to put it politely.
So, the warning is...once they have your money be prepared to forfeit it or be ready to pay 45% - 60% more to buy a ticket with First Class Vacations.
