I refinanced my home in 2005 and had to pay off all debts, I paid off FCNB in November of 2005. Two years later I noticed there was a company called Midland Agency listed on my credit report as a charge off. I disputed the listing because I didn't know what it was all about. Three days later I received a collection notice from this organization stating that I owed 605.00 which is more than the amount that my pay off was for. I called Midland and advised them that that account was paid in full November 23, 2005 and that I would not pay another dime to them or to anyone else. When I asked for the contact information to FCNB they replied they had no contact information.
