I also am unable to get account information from the company where my FCNB account was transferred using the web site cardmemberservices.net or the automated voice response system at 866-691-0053. The error message I get states that my account number is invalid. Of course, I am using the account number I have always used and, to my knowledge, have not received any correspondence stating that my account number has been changed.

In doing some research, I discovered that cardmemberservices.net is owned by Infistar (infistar.com). I sent an email to information@infistar.com inquirying about my account. I have not received a reply yet but just recently sent the email.

I thought the above (and below) information might be of value to others who are experiencing difficulties getting their account information and for those who want to pursue the matter legally. Below is some information from the infistar.com web site's "Contact Infistar" page:

your walking through the grocery isle (Rainbow foods,minnesota)the item your looking at says was 2.00 now below it temp price reduced to 1.50 you go to ring up the item & the register reads item at 2.00 -44 cents when it should read -50 not giving you the equals and rushing you through the line with a feverish pitch as the employees are rewarded(Unknowing "yet suspecting as time passes" to them)to get you checked out with the timed and accounted for speeds (no real big deal of a loss here whats a few cents, although even if the mistakes made are never equaling in your favor)but myself with a $450 doller monthly shopping bill i noticed and example items priced at $2.87 -33 never revealing what that equals when the item shelved clearly stated "$2.49" only a 4 cents overcharge it becomes appearn't that like someone walking in and shoplifting they now are the shoplifters(Your wallet and chump change)Never the less you've been robbed by this modern day technology and in an abundant volumes(I witnesed a reciept(My own)at 44% errors in never my "the consumers" favor some items off by 37 cents & more...)the game here is that most unaware (reading a magazine,bagging your buy,being polite 2 chat)will be bagged out of chump change with a fevered pitch from the retailers banking on your blind faith that a computer does not make mistakes (best thief in this world 2 date)fight back and ask the person ringing you up to do the math right there and in front of you and give me my equals... can they themselves do the math ? (you'll see my point) huh computer technology & theres a reason your not getting your equals = so much to gain from people whom are unaware & blind faith trusting while the corporate accounting depts shoplifting is taking place..dont just accept the replie of "simple mistake we'll fix it, Sure they will on your reciept & your reciept only continuing this shell game on the social security only or even less income (your mom,your childs lawn mowing money)all of us shoplifting victoms.they only give you the first mistake made free if that at all some store policys meaning an on again off again plee for your blind faith trust (on again ='s "very few but still enough to make out more than lost mistakes made" off again ='s "hunting season arrived/ing soon" just know that if theres no equels what that equells...be angry about it & stand up for someone else who never knew & or cant stand up for themselves... the price equals a shell game from this one armed intent to foul system
