I had a good account with them for 2 yrs. I started having financial problems and was late a couple time with my payments. They instantly closed my account. No warning no nothing.

Now 7mos later i have already been charged almost 1000.00 in late fees and overlimit fees. I could have never caught up if i tried my hardest. They turned my account over about 2-3 mos after closing it to an outside collection agency they have told me my account would be written off.

I am still receiving monthly statements from the credit card company and they are still accruing late fees and overlimit fees as we speak. How do they get away with this? I would think if an account has been closed and written off then they should not legally be able to keep adding fees to your account. There should be some law out there that just isn't being inforced. All these different credit card companies are just really defrauding the public.

With any other account being a car loan, furniture loan etc... Once an account has been closed and turned over they don't keep adding fees on top of fees after the account is closed.
