I recently had an account with FCNB and never got a notice of them going Bankrupt. I was noticing that on my statements, I had no more available balance left but I never used it all in the first place. I started to check up on it and eventually found out months later that they went bankrupt! I didn't have any contacts or number anymore but still found out!

They contact me every so often and I have written letters stating that I would not be paying for any more interest or late fees but only the fees I incurred while using the card itself. They did not agree and still tacked on more fees and interest along with other charges. I am not happy with this at all! I think something should be done and quickly.

I spoke with someone a couple of days ago trying to get me to agree to pay a certain amount and come to an agreement or in 10 days my account will go on as a charge off! I think that this would be my only solution! Does anyone know of anything that I can do to stop this from happening?
