There are three issues that I have had with FCNB that has led to my closing their account which I will never reopen & discourage anyone from ever opening their own. 1. I paid off my account (in full) and they were supposed to mail me my refund for the balance overpayment. They did this but left about 15cents owing on the account for which they billed me $60.00 in late fees for two consecutive months.

I tried for about three months to have this corrected and had to make a ton of phone calls plus letters for them to do anything about it. 2. In ddition to this charge they also billed me my annual fee after I called in, and sent a letter requesting my account closed.

Again it took me several months of calling to have this reversed. 3. I have also had the experience of them shutting down my account for several weeks. This happened after I reported my card lost, they sent me a new card & missapplied my payments to the old card number. What hole or rock did these people crawl from. This is the 21st century. Do they do accounting on a abacus?? Do they not think a person with an ounce of intelligence would not notice that they are trying to rape the consumer. Buyer Beware.
