In January 2003 I received a letter from FCNB that the company was canceling their MC/VISA credit cards , effective March 7 2003. Since I have other credit cards and only use the FCNB card for my internet carrier I was not concerned. That is until I received my Feb 2002 bill which included a annual fee of $20.00. Stupid me thought this was just a billing mistake that would be cleared up, boy was I wrong.

I paid the balance of $23.90 for my internet carrier and called customer service concerning the annual fee, how can they charge me a fee for a card that they are getting rid of? I was told by Tammy that the fee would be taken off the bill, well I got a bill in April for not only the annual fee, but a $35.00 late fee, because I didn't pay the annual fee. After numerous phone calls and being told well it's your credit rating we don't care I have gotten nowhere. They even had the nerve to call my house on Mother's Day saying I owed them money.

Just think if they are doing this to all their customers How much money are they faudulantly billing for? I am willing to be a part of any class action suit and refuse to let them get away with this
