First Consumers National Bank started charging me late fees and eventually that led to over the credit limit fees. When I call them back in June of 2003, I was told that these charges could not be waived. The charges were unjust. I did not get any statements from them and finally found out from my mom that they went bankrupt (she had an account with them as well, still makes payments but there is no one to talk to).

I was contacted by a company and was told I could make payment arrangements for my past due $1300 (absurd). When I called the company back there was no way to get hold of a human.

I tried calling the 800-876-3262 number on the back of the card, only to get an automated recording and it tells me that my account is not valid! I tried to called another number (card member services/USA Bank) and was told that they do not handle this account, FCNB is now handled by First Nebraska Bank. I have not been able to get a number for this company yet, but will keep trying.

I do not want this to blemish my credit. Thinking of reporting to credit bureau.
