I just recently started an account at this bank. They did not give me truthful information from the start. They told me that I could cash my husband's checks without him being on the account.

They sent checks back and charged a NSF fee for them when I had the money in the account. Then when the check went back a week later it caused other items to be charged NSF and sent back. This happened for three weeks. I have a huge OD now and they refuse to close the account my guess is so that they can keep charging me.

I asked them question about why they don't use the OD protection to cover checks when they go though the account the first time. I was not given an answer other then that's just the way they do things. Now I have checks going back left and right and being charged 33.00 everytime they come in and I don't know what to do.

I contacted the better business burea and now I am sumitting it on this sight to get to as many people as I can to tell them not to use this account. My partents and my sister in law also had problems with this bank.

Thank you for putting this on your web site. I hope you can help those of use who were just trying to doing banking and didn't expect all the fradulant charges they have.

Why were the checks sent back?

They can and did cash your husband's checks against your account. Them coming back means that the other bank has said that their is not enough money in this account to pay for this check.

What type of checks were they? Who were they from?

I'd go after them for giving your husband bad checks.

Good luck!
