First Convenience - First / 1st National Bank Of Texas doing an ATM card fraud on new accounts Fort Worth Dallas Texas
1st Convenience Bank that also calls itself First Convenience National Bank of Texas falsely promises to send you a MasterCard ATM card within 7 to 10 days.
It never comes.
Instead, the give you a "Gold Key" card that you can't use anywhere - plus the claim ATM service is free at their location - which also is false. They charge you a fee, claiming the ATM at their banks is not their bank at all.
It's a huge and deliberate fraud and scam. You could have gone to any other bank and gotten a Visa or MasterCard ATM card that you could use anywhere in the country. While they promise this when you get an account, instead all you get is a "Gold Key" card that you can't use anywhere except at their banks where they rip you off for ATM fees claiming their ATM is not their ATM. They have very few banks anywhere, so overall their Gold Key card is worthless.
Don't believe it when you apply for an account and they tell you that you'll get a MasterCard ATM card in 7 to 10 days. You'll get nothing in 7 to 10 days. Instead, all you'll have is the scam "Gold Key" card they give you when you get the account. If you ask where is the MasterCard ATM card they just tell you that it must have gotten lost or someone forgot to turn in the request. They did this to me at the Fort Worth 1st Convenience at the Wal-Mart on Meadowbrook. But others are telling me the same thing was done to them.
If you want an account with a MasterCard or Visa ATM card that you can used in stores and banks everywhere, go to ANY bank but 1st Convenience Bank.
This terribly messed up my plans as I intended to travel and needed the ATM card to rent a car (plus some hotels require one.) Instead, FIRST CONVENIENCE -NATIONAL BANK RUINED MY VACATION WITH THEIR SCAM.

Did you bother to call the bank and see if it was sent out? Maybe it was stolen or something. You need to let the bank know you did not recEIve it. I think what you are talking about IS an ATM card, the mastercard is a DEBIT card9 and can be used at the ATM as well)
