I signed up after listening to his is webinar and list of add-ons for acting now for the Apartment Building Wealth Program "getting your deals funded." The cost was $750. with a trial mentoring program. With a 30 day guarantee. This was an internet down load for the add on incentives and hard copy of program via mail. I didnt get access for one week after signing up.  So the 30day guarantee was a joke and I found that out when I tried to cancel. I received the hard copy in the mail and almost fell out of my seat. Complete Crap!. I received: a DVD with a webinar audio and video, also in the package was an additional CD with the same audio he was also nice enough to send a transcript of the DVD. I was never able to find the additional add-ons on his web site either.  Needless to say I sent in a formal cancel notice and sent the crap back to him. They said I didn't send the program back within 30 days and continued to slam my card. I had to call my bank and cancel the card. To this day I still get emails from them saying my card is no good as they try to run additional funds. This crap cost me $1,125 dollars and I got nothing. He just wants the money folks. Stay away!!

I thought it was a rip off at first too but when I asked for a refund; I got it within a reasonable amount of time. I then tried him again later after searching through different ways to deal in real estate or multi-family homes with other guru's. I've made some really good money since then and it was very helpful but it's not for everyone. Some things were outdated but the training information wasn't. I noticed one of his websites had the incorrect date for a virtual training course. I called them and they explained it wasn't updated but gave me all the information I needed. Sorry you had trouble with them, don't really have a solution for you so hope it all works out.

Student Failed to Read Contract

#3UPDATE Employee

Fri, July 29, 2011

Each student that signs up for any of our Virtual Boot Camps must sign a contract. This protects our company as well as our students. Our contract, which this student did in fact sign and return to us, clearly states that they have until 5:00 p.m. Central of the day following the scheduled release date of the second video to cancel and receive a refund.  As you can see, this is not a 30-day cancellation policy.

What we do offer 30-day cancellation on is our Apprentice Program, which is a free trial each student is automatically signed up for when they purchase any of our Virtual Boot Camps. They have 30 days FROM THEIR PURCHASE DATE to opt-out and if they do not, they will be charged for the Apprentice Program and are then committed to a minimum of 90 days in the program. This is all clearly stated (not in small print) in our contract that the student signs.

The bottom line is that this student did not read the contract before signing it. We can not be held responsible for every student who chooses to sign a contract without reading it. Also, this particular student did not ask for a refund or send back any materials. He opted-out almost a month past the 30 days that we allow.
