This all started when I joined OBS / Herbalife (yep I feel I was ripped off by them also). They said I needed a credit card service to use in my business, and suggested First Data CardService International. Well with-in a few weeks I could see I wasn't going to make it in business, so I started closing everything. This is when I found out about my contract with CardService International. ( You know, the one it takes ten lawyers to read and then they cannot even tell you what it says). By reading it over, as much as I could stand to read, I found where if your agent didn't explain to you about your contract and early termination, that you didn't have to honor it. Well think again.
To make it short I have made very many phone calls trying to get out of this crooked contract, along with letters cancelling it. And they are still coming after me, to get my money that I don't have. They told me they would take it out of my checking account, so to stop this I closed that account and am not with that bank any longer.
I have been hoping they would just accept that I am unable to pay for something I never used nor would be able to use and that I was never explained to about their policies. (I never even got as far as getting my password etc.) But no luck. Today I received a FINAL DEMAND letter from them, and a totally different address from the ones I had been dealing with. This one is the remittance center in New York. Well since they couldn't get the money out of my account, my account with them is now considered in default with them. And if don't send the money with-in 72 hours of the date of this letter, they will turn it over to their lawyers, and legal action will be taken.
Well since I don't have any work right now and no longer have any kind of OBS business I do not have the money, even if I did think they were in the right. Which I do not. They out to rip-off anyone that breathes the same air as they do. I sure could use some help with this matter.

First Data Card Service International

I have received another letter from card service international. This time it is from their collection-legal department, demanding $310.00. So the price has gone up from $235.00, that they say I owe them, and they are saying in light of many repeated attempts to collect; I hardly ever hear from them!

And now they are starting to threaten me by saying they will take me to court if I dont pay and I will have to pay legal fees, etc. I have tried to explain to them that I dont have that kind of money and I am unable to pay anything for a service I never received, or even finished signing up for.

Stay away from card service international at all cost. Since then I have had dealings with Pay Pal and have been very pleased with my transactions. I guess I am on my own as far as card service international.

Well, I have just talked with Jim Greene at card service collection-legal department, and they have agreed to let me make a reduced payment in two payments of $50.00 each, and this I have decided to try and do, as much as I hate giving into them and giving them anything.
Good luck to all of you, and if it is not too late; STAY AWAY FROM THEM
