First Exam Robs and Misleads Atlanta Georgia

First Exam advertised a Postal Battery Exam Preparation Guide in the local newspaper. After talking with a live person about the process and product, I was assured that the $99.50 fee was refundable. After obtaining the guide, I visited the First Exam website which contained no information about the company, but directed one immediately to the USPS website.

As the exam was not offered in my locale in the past several months and I had obtained employment, I returned the guide per written instructions and requested a refund. The Atlanta Bulk Mail Center sent me a letter with package remnants attached stating, "an empty wrapper with your address was found in the mail and is believed to have been separated from a parcel during handling." Presumably, the parcel never made it to the P.O. Box number supplied to me, but this experience prompted a search for similar incidents.

I don't believe any further attempts to contact First Exam with prove worthwhile. They made every effort to appear as if they were the first step to employment with the U.S. Post Office and this was untrue.
