My 2008 Fleetwod Pace Arrow motorhome was towed to a repair facility & I promptly call First Extended for authorization as requested [Oct 3rd, 3 p.m.]   I was told that the repair shop had to do a diagnostic and report the 'codes' from the burnt out transmission.  The repair person called First Extended with the required information the very next day [Oct 4th] & was told that authorization had to come from someone higher up in the company.

Oct. 8th, No authorization so far, I called again and was told that 'I' had to give the repair person permission to do a diagnostic on the motorhome transmission [again] and have the error codes forwarded.  Oct. 10th, Transmission was finally removed and sent to a repair shop, taken apart, reported that the clutches 2 & 5 were definitely burnt up & more research was being done.  Oct 15th, Called again to First Extended for permission to have the transmission either rebuilt or replaced, was told they would get back to me.

Oct 21st, It has been over two weeks and the transmission has been diagnosed as burnt beyond repair.  It was reported again to First Extended and was told again that someone higher up had to authorize the repair.
