In 2002 we purchased a Sierra 150 GMC truck at Penske (formerly Dan Phelps Auto) in Shillington, Pennsylvania. At that time we also purchased an extended service contract through First Extended Service Corporation. We have never had any claims for our truck until this week. We recently started towing a camaper and tried to use the tow/haul button only to find that it was not working.

Upon taking our truck to the dealer they told us they contact First Extended Service Corporation and they were told they would not cover this button.

The warranty we purchased was a comprehensive warranty and it says it covers everything. We have paid $192.45 for the new button and First Extended refuses to pay saying this is not covered. According to everything we have on paper it should be covered. The Penske dealership has even told us they do not know why they will not cover this work as it should be warranty.

Our contract is for 84 months from date of purchase or 50,000 miles. We currently have 27757 miles on our truck. The purchase amount of the service contract was $1047.00.
