After moving to Huntington Indiana, I realized that my bank did not have a branch here so I attempted to open a direct deposit account for my social security retirement benefits at a local bank (first federal savings bank).

I was told that, for my convenience I could open an online account to manage my banking needs.  Since opening the online account this bank will not allow me access to my account.  Every time I sign in I must retrieve a security code from them via my email.  This is an extremely tiring and tedious process as the code is not sent right away and there is usually a wait.  By the time I retrieve the code it is expired.

I called the bank and asked to have access to my account without all of this hassle.  I was told by a tech. rep. 'we don't know what we can do for you.'  I used the same computer that I set up the account with, but it says it does not recognize it.  I also spoke with a so called manager there and was put on hold only to be told the same thing.

I want to close this account with this bank as soon as possible but I have an outstanding check for $10 that I wrote out to my son.  He deposited it at his bank on Friday 13, in the morning.  It is almost six days now and it still has not been processed by First Federal Savings Bank of Huntington, IN.

I am a disabled senior.  I need an online account that I can have access to.  This banks actions towards me are discriminatory and harassing in nature.  Otherwise I would not need a secuirty code every time I try and log on to my account.
