I have been waiting since June 2001, checking my mail everyday, hoping to receive something from this company. I finally found the answer I was looking for when I was brought to this site as I searched for more information on Card Services-First Financial, USA. I had to search by the telephone number since there was no direct web site or any relalted links that matched up.

Here's how it started. I received a call from them in June 2001. Sounded like a great way for a college student to build her credit and get all the priviledges of the money-saving benefits they offered, you would think?! I began to draw doubts in August when I remembered that I had still had not received any kind of notification by mail. I remember what I thought the day I first tried to contact them on this matter. How professional- busy signals...it took atleast 20 minutes before I got a free line. The operators were very uninformative. They would say "someone will get back" to me, "a verification form is in the mail", "a new process is in effect so there will be a short delay in new card mailings..." and such. The last contact they said they were waiting for an additional processing fee for $25, which I was not aware of but the "supervisor" assured me it would take care of everything, and then I should receive my card within the month.

That was about two months ago, but when I tried to call the number (I had memorized by heart by now), it was not in service!!!. Looking over bank statments, they have taken around $300 (200 for the membership fee, which was to go towards purchases on my new account with them once I got the card, and for other misc. fees taken out of my checking account). If you were cheated by this company please contact me. The more of us who come together, the greater our chance of seeing that justice is served. I want to know what we can do, if anything, not only to get our money (and extra compensation) back, but to see that measures are taken so that this does not happen to anyone ever again.
