I received a call after filling some information for needing a credit card and also needing to improve my credit after my ex-husband had ruined my credit with his spending habits using credit cards in my name. I had to eventually declare bankcruptcy.

A First Link employee called me and stated that they had a card that would help re-establish my credit if I used the card right. The terms of the card were just great, so I decided to do an electronic transfer of funds from my bank account which I had done a few times before. I felt assured because the conversation was recorded for verification and everyone involved with First Link seemed very professional. I know that bank fraud is a serious offence today. We live in a capitalistic consumer world and I do still have some trust in our system because it works.

I don't know who to blame, but the computer and credit card which were to arrive by Fedex in one week got lost. I was given a Fedex trace number and they told me that it had been delivered. One week later, thank God the card arrived but I had to scramble to meet some needs because of he initial payment of $354. Two weeks later than expected, the computer arrived...

I must admit the company tried to help, but I was not able to get through to customer service when I was not working which is after 5 PM EST. That was their excuse. I think this problem would have been solved much earlier if the company would have longer customer service hours.
