shortly after receiving this platinum card, I started getting phone calls on the payment due date stating they had not received the payment and would I like to pay by phone. either way, they were going to charge a late fee to my account. I have never had a problem with late payments so I began to pay particular attention to the dates I mailed the payments. They told me it takes 5 to 7 days to post the payment to my account. I have since learned they are duplicating the practice used by fleet credit to dupe customers out of bogus late fees. By imposing processing delays, they rake in millions in late fees. I proved this last month when I mailed my payment certified, 5 days before the due date and found it was delivered in two days. since it was certified, FNBM posted it that day.....what happened to 5-7 days??? Fleet credit has recently lost a class action settlement accusing them of the same practice. FNBM is affiliated with Fleet credit.....DO THE MATH.
