First National Benefits ripoff, a deceitful, abusive company. Charlotte North Carolina
In early May, I received a pnone call early in the morning. The company claimed it could help me get grant money.
They calimed in less than six months that they could get me a grant up to $12,500 if I gave them an initial $29.95. I should have known better being somewhat educated, but college is so expensive.
The next week and a half, I received a letter telling me of the benefits and that soon my benefits packages would be on the way. As soon as I got this particular letter, I called them back to cancel.
They put me on hold to speak to a manager and the woman told me it was too late and that my package would be in mail. 2 weeks later I received coupons (that were no good)and a letter thanking me.
I have been trying to call them back for a while now to complain and this last time I was going to tell them I was getting a lawyer, but there was no one to get a hold of.
I feel lost and embarrassed of what happened to me. All I want is my $29.95 and $299.95 back.
