As many on this site did I have received also many times one of those credit card invitations. The latest being this one. Thanks to this site I know what I am up against.

This letter is approving a credit limit of $6,500.00 for me even though after my accident I have collected a series of bad reports and no reputable company would extend any credit to me.

But now this company is asking for $ 200.00 for a membership fee whitch I would get back in the form of credit toward my "first" purchase of $300.00 or more in the next 60 days And an annual fe of $99.00 ( but what are they selling). In addition they ask for my checking account number so they can take that money out themselves (yeah, right).

The letter does not have a web site address and when I asked for the web site address so I can check the items that they sell they said that I can not get it unless I become a member and after a little more discussion and requesting more info they hang up on me.For all we know they could sell only Beany Babies. My opinion is that all those letters from different companies but same offers are nothing more than one company moving around and scaming people who does not understand what they read or what they are told over the phone ( anybody ever watched a movie "Boyler Room").Web users have a reference where to look for info but what about all those people that do not have internet.Frankly I am surprised that these scams are still around.Somebody with knowledge of the law system should step on their tail soon.
