FIRST NATIONAL CARD IS A FRAUD
I received the Fist National Card in the mail about a year ago. I let it go. Then about 3 months ago I received it again and thought i would give it a try. The membership fee was $199.00 for a $7,500.00 limit. I knew it wasn't a normal credit card. I thought it was a catalog card like my fingerhut card. So i gave the guy my account information. About a week passed and i went online to check something out about the card and i came across all these fraud reports. I immediately called them back to cancel the card. They told me i could'nt. I call my bank and put a stop payment on the automatic debit. Also to be safe I took all my money out of the bank and out it in my boyfriends account. It turns out the bank messed up on the stop payment and since their was no money in their anymore First National could'nt get anything and an issuficient funds charge was being added to my account. I finnally got through to First National customer Service. The people were very rude and hung up on me, when I confronted them. I called back and spoke to a manager and they said will continue to go into my account as long as they wanted unttil they got their money. I said yea you try it. I am closing my account, try and take it now. The later said fine and hung up on me. My point is if you gave these people your account number and they have not withdrawed the money yet, call your bank and make a stop payment and close your account. I am only saying this because the fine print in the letter states that basically anytime they feel like their are "miscellaneous" fees of $45.00 that be taken out whenever they want. So please call the bank now before the do this to you. Once they start doing this their is nothing you can do because you authorized them to debit you checking account. Think about it never did they say a one time fee of such and such amount of money. Hope this helps somebody.
