First National Card is a Rip Off and Did Not Cancel as I Requested
I called an 800 number on Monday ---1/21/02--- to activate what I thought was a credit card for which I had applied for and a Tommy Jones told me that I had been approved for $8,000 credit limit asking me for my checking account number ---both the routing number and checking account number--- and of course I fell for the scam I okayed the amount of $199.99 to be debited out of my account and the 23rd of Januarey 2002.
Later, the same day, I called the same 800 number to inform them that I wanted to cancel the transaction for which I had now found to be FRUAD and was told they would not submit the debit request.
They took out $199.99 from my account without without my authorization at any rate on January 23.
This is unfair for a company to do this to people and because they went into my account I had checks retured for insufficient funds, plus additional fees, and theres no way I can get in contact with this d**n company .
