First National Credit - A Credit Card Scam only useable through their catalog filled with cheap, high-priced trinkets
I recieved the mailer from First American Credit and sent off for the $15,000 credit card they offered. A couple of weeks later I recieved their package and was shocked to see what I got: a "credit card" that was only useable through their store and a catalog that was filled with cheap, high-priced trinkets. I immediately packaged everything back up and sent it back to them. I recently called in an attempt to find out the status of my refund, but had a very difficult time attempting to get through to an actual person. After several attempts, I was able to get through (I pressed 204 when you are asked for an account #) and several transfers, eventually got through to a supervisor named Alicia, who after much arguing, told me that they had never recieved my materials back and that the most they could do was to close my account.
