My name is Debbie Flythe and I have been scammed and ripped off by a company that calls that self First National Credit Group, their suppose to be a loan company that helps people with bad credit. On March 20, 2006 I spoke with a man named Robert Cooper, he informed that I had requested a loan on the internet for $3500 dollars, but I had been approved for $5000 dollars, Mr. Cooper told me that the minimum their company does personal loans for is $5000 dollars. I told Mr. Cooper that I needed the $5000 dollars so if that's what I qualified for I wanted it, Mr. Cooper then asked me what was the loan needed for and also asked me was all of my information that I had submitted was correct, I told him yes it was and that the money was needed to help me pay off bills, re-establish my credit and to help me pay for my wedding. Mr. Cooper then told me that due to my credit history I would have to pay an amount of $771.95 for collateral to secure my loan with a private lender and that I would be paying the amount of $154.90 a month at a 7% per cent interest rate for 3 years, but if I send this money my first payment would not be due until September 1, 2006. Mr. Cooper faxed me a loan agreement to sign and informed me to sign pages 3 and 5, fax them back to him along with a copy of a state issued I.D., social security card and a blank voided check, I faxed these documents to him on March 23, 2006. On March 24, 2006 I spoke with Mr. Cooper and he asked me would I be going to a western union or a money gram. I informed him that I would be going to a western union, he then told me that I need to send a total amount of $772.00 and what ever the interational charge is for sending the money the company would reimburse me. Okay, on March 27, 2006 I went Western Union and wired $772.00 plus paid a fee of $66.99 for international fees which was a total of $838.99 to Account Manager- Marilyn Davis city code - Calgary/state code - Alberta in Canada. After doing this I immediately called Mr. Cooper with the amount sent, the fee for sending it and the MTCN (money transfer control number) and he told me that my $5000 dollars would be in my account by the next day which was the 28 of March between the hours of 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. and everything was complete. I asked Mr. Cooper when would they send me my statements so I could start paying installments, he told me that someone from customer service would call me on the 28th after the money has been direct deposited into my account. On the 28th at 12:00 noon a man by the name of Edward Hickman contacted me from the company First National Credit Group informing me that the amount of money I had sent to the private lender was inadequate and that because of my credit history the private lender required more, which would be another $772.00, as I informed Mr. Hickman, Mr. Cooper informed me that the company had already check my credit history and everything had been approved and the process was complete and then he calls me asking for more money and said that if I didn't want go and send more money I could get a refund. I told Mr. Hickman that I had to scrape the bottom of the barrel to come up with money I did send them and that missed bill payments and my account has a 0 zero balance, so yeah I would like a refund, then after I ask for a refund this man tells me and my fiance' that they have a billing cycle and they can't send me a certified check until the 14th of April, so me and my fiance' suggested that they deposit it in my account like they said they were going to do with the $5000 dollars and they still said they can't do that because it is a process, they have to let the private lender know that I'm not going to send any more money and I would like a refund. I really hope that someone can help me, because when I call the telephone number 1-866-381-7764 ext. 127 (Robert Cooper) and ext. 492 Edward Hickman, no one answers the telephone, it goes straight to voice mail and they are not returning my calls, I hope people read this, that was all the money I had, I have bills piling on top of bills and I even have post pone my wedding, I guess I believed this deal because I had been looking for personal loans for slow and bad credit on line and someone used my weakness because they knew I needed this money and I still need this money along with the money they scammed me out of $838.99.
