First National Credit is a bigtime ripoff. They send mailouts guaranteeing a $15,000 credit limit gold card. Aliso Viejo, California

I got the letter from First National Credit a few days ago. Very odd! I noticed right off hand that it had no disclaimer on the reverse side of the letter. FDIC and NCOA require that. Plus, what is extremely odd is that I ended my last marriage recently with horrible credit. NO WAY IN HELL would I get a credit limit like that. It made a reference to a member package - there is no such package with the letter. Here's the Facts about National Credit of Aliso Viejo, Ca. 1. No phone number to contact them 2. An internal box number on the address (Unit), banks usually have smaller addresses either P.O. Box, PMB. 3. On the www.fdic.gov/idasp website a "First National Credit of Aliso Viejo, CA" does not exist. The closest I could find was one bank, "Wells Fargo" and that certainly exists. 4. No disclaimer on the application form. 5. Did not require a signature of authorization for credit card 6. Did not bill the "membership fee" to account - normally banks will do that unless you get a secured credit card. **Pay attention to #3 if they are a bank, instituation, office or whatever regarding money - they will be listed on the Gov website** Nice try "National Credit" - you're a "National Scam" and you're caught with your hands in your panse!
