I received a letter in todays mail (Sat. 06/01/02). It looked legal and true to form. The envelope had a clear see through cellaphane window in the upper right of the envelope where one (I) could easily read the words: "Eugene... you have been pre-approved for a $15,000 line of credit and 0% APR for 12 months." It further states that there is a 30 day money back guarantee of the $37.00 membership fee-no questions asked. It further states that the acceptance is not a "maybe." That they have already reserved a card in my name and this approal is fully enforceable under appicable federal laws. They make this sound so good and so legal. But I was suspicious so a looked up the name on the internet and I am glad I did. I found out that I am not alone in this scam being pulled on others. Eugene Whaithouse, Ohio
