First National Credit RIP OFF TIP OFF
I received a letter today from First National Credit stating that they would give us a GOLD CARD with a credit line of $15,000 and 0% interest for a year guaranteed. This sounded too good to be true, and after reading it further I noticed - no place, does it ever say Visa, Mastercard, Discover or any of the big name credit cards, thus begging the question, what KIND of card would we be getting? Additionally, I was suspicious with the one time membership fee and decided to investigate further on the internet. Even their Website does not give ANY information as to what the Membership includes, involves etc. Needless to say, I did not reply to the letter and in my investigating, found this site. I am just sorry that others had to deal with such a scam and hope my posting this will help people avoid this situation in the future. If it does not state one of the major Credit Card companies, and it's guaranteed without Credit Approval, it IS too good to be true.

Besides the Major Credit Card companies Logo being included, if the letter does not include a phone number or viable website to find more information etc, don't TRUST it.
Also, no matter what, I try and research any *offer* further through the Internet etc. before making any decisions etc.
