I'm trying my hardest to avoid a ripoff by first national credit... I applied for their mastercard online and months later got a call promising a $2000 credit line. I asked a lot of questions but the "pay as you go" concept was never mentioned-- it was billed as a LINE of credit for $169. So I gave them my checking account number... at some point dutring processing I heard their recorded message about how the card works and told the service rep to cancel this -- I didn't want it.

Not only did he outright refuse to do so (by using a lot of stalling tactics, talking while I was talking etc) until I was screaming and yelling to cancel it -- this went on for more than 20 minutes -- he would not identify the company but that it's in Key Largo, FL, and would not give me a superior or a contact phone number for the company.

So I am forced to remove my money from my bank account or change the numbers so f.n. doesn't get a hold of my money.
