Complaint Review: First National Credit

Now I know why it's imperative to check you credit report often! Today I decided to check Experian since they offered me a 30 day free trial. I was strolling along and what but I find an open account from First National Credit. I have never even heard of this company. It's possible that they may have sent me some literature before and I threw it away, but in no way have I ever signed up or recieved a card from them.

It's showing that the account was just opened last month and so far has a balance of $103.00. I was checking the web for information on this company when I came upon this site. (Great site by the way). It's very scary to see that so many other's have been taking advantage of by this very same co. Drastic measures need to be taking so that this doesn't become an epidemic.

Thanks to Experian I got a phone number and address for them, but since it's 5:30am I'll assume that's the reason for no answer. I put a letter of dispute in with Experian and now all I can do is wait, but I will be ringing there phone off the hook starting at 8:00am.

Well, I'll come back and give an update once I speak with a representative of this company.
