I applied for this credit card, knowing about the charges, BUT, left for vacation. When I returned home, found a statement in the mail, for payment due. The payment was already past due, and get this, I havent even received my credit card yet. I did not activate the card. I have never in my life been mailed a statement first, before I received the card. I called and canceled, they offered to lower the fees, and send me a new card, because I had not received the card as of then. I agreed, and then received my second statment, showing a late fee, for the fist months billing. Now I have two statements, with a late charge, and have not even seen or touched this new credit card. Wow, so I just called and cancelled. They were nice about it, but I am a little worried about my credit rating, I hope they dont report me late. I did not feel good about this, it made me feel real uneasy! I will report them, if any bad comes out of this on my credit report. Aloha! Darci Mahon darci lahaina, Hawaii
