A trused friend referred me to this company/person for some credit help. Seeing as I trusted my friend since he had good results in the past with her I decided to talk to PK and get some information. As soon as I contacted Pikake Paahana (PK from here on) for assistance with credit repair she was all over things. A check was sent for a hefty amount and on went the services and reports from the credit companies were arriving in my mailbox weekly and monthly. I would receive credit updates and forward them to PK as instructed. About 8 months pass and I see no changes in my credit when I was promised change and removal of items. I questioned it and questioned it only to be told that its apart of the process and it should be off soon. That was not the case. Once I started to question deeper, and ask for a refund, since its been over a year and no change in credit, she would not comply and said its almost over and that she does not give refunds. I even tried to reason with her and settle, but she would not take it.

It was at about 15 months when she finally said that her work is done and I will be receiving the updated credit report, this never happened and no change in my credit.

CONSUMER BEWARE, she is a fraud, a thief and will try to convince you that she can help with your credit, this is NOT TRUE, STAY AWAY!

Here is some information I was given:

Current address:
824 Bay St Apt 1

In an effort to comply with PK's latest demand she has asked that I remove my previous comments in order to issue my refund. As this site does not allow the removal of complaints or comments I can not comply with this demand.

I have complied with her on ALL other requests both verbally and via writing. I disclosed everything openly when I decided to hire her.

She has agreed to refund my money in full within 45 days.

I am please that she has come to the right decision to honor her contract with me by refunding my money in full.  I thank her for that.

As for requiring me to remove my remarks before receiving a refund I will let you all be the judge of that.

Not Accurate - Refund Being Issued

Client did not disclose that he was being sued by the company of the account he was having me work on.  Also, he had not disclosed all that he had already attempted to do on his own in terms of repair.  I asked him numerous times when I was having issues with his file and he continued to tell me there was nothing he was not telling me and that I had all the paperwork I needed.

His file completion date was 2 days ago, and I told him that he will be receiving a refund.  I am issuing refund even though the contract clearly states that if client does not comply with advice, and if they do not give truthful statements or representations than we cannot be responsible for negative information remaining.

When asked about this inaccurate complaint he said "he put this up before he got confirmation of refund and its his right as an American"  and he will remove it when he receives his money.

Once again, after 15 years and helping thousands of people and working with numerous Brokers on a daily basis, the couple files that I have had a hard time with were all surrounding the same circumstances.  I will continue to help those who are forthcoming with their situation and in need.

PK has treated me the same way and has accused me of not working with her.  There is nothing to work with because she does nothing. She only responds to me when i reach out to her and its always an argument on why she hasn't done anything.  My contract with her has expired and she wont refund my money and refuses to understand that she is Fired!  She is a criminal in my mind.  I would like to start a claas action law suite against her.  She needs to be stopped and possibly put behind bars!

Not An Accurate Statement/Information

Client, Attila Acs, came to me from a Broker with whom I had worked with and had helped many of his clients obtain a home that otherwise could not because of derogatory credit history.  I raised Attila's credit score from  562 to 689 *See pics below*.  I also was able to get off numerous large and negatively reporting accurate accounts.  The issue with his file is that a mortgage account we had cleared was re-reported by the creditor, which is not uncommon especially in the past 2 years with the overload of mortgage related issues and banks & lenders being overly cautious with their practices & reports
to the credit bureaus.  I guarantee all my work and told Mr. Acs that I would re-remove the account again.  I have helped thousands of people and have numerous recommendations.  You cannot always please everyone however I do my best to do so - even when at the mercy of 3 credit bureaus in which they have control over what is reported & re-reported along with the creditors that report to them.

A Trusted Friend?

I hope you had a long talk with your "Trusted Friend" over this.  Because there are a few things both you and your friend needs to know.

There is no legal way ANYONE can remove items from your Credit Report if they are valid items.  If there are invalid items on your credit you have a legal right to dispute them and it does not cost you anything.  Instead of taking the "easy" way out.  You probably would have been better off taking that "hefty" amount and using it to actually work on paying off your debts.

But with that said you may have some recourse.   There is something called the Credit Repair Organizations Act, this is the guidelines that anyone who is offering "Credit Repair" must follow.

They are NOT allowed to make statements they know are false, and generally if they guarantee that they can remove items that would fall under this category.   More importantly they are NOT allowed to take payment in advance for their services.   If they violate these regulations you can sue them and if you prevail you can not only collect actual damages but the courts will also award you attorney fees as well as possible punitive damages.

The cancelled check would be good for proof of payment and any e-mails, letters, or contracts they had you sign would also go a long way to proving your case.
